1. Description case
Vimexx is one of the largest hosting providers in the Benelux. With over 40,000 customers and a rating of 4.8 out of 5, Vimexx is firmly established in the market. The offer ranges from domain names to web hosting with top price/quality!
2. Briefing case
Vimexx already had a large market share at first contact, but this mainly organically through SEO and through word of mouth. They were looking for an integrated strategy and a solid marketing plan with implementation. No sooner said than done.
3. Work
We start with an analysis of the current situation: a scan of the website, the customer panel, Google Analytics with rankings, Google Ads and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter).
After the initial analysis, we draw up areas for improvement and a Plan of Action. This way, we see which media we will focus on. Influencer marketing combined with Facebook and Instagram turned out to be a suitable solution.
Afterwards, we started a digital strategy. Using visitor and anonymized customer data, we create a persona or ideal target persona. We analyze how a visitor becomes a customer using the Modern Customer Journey and how to optimize this customer journey.
We define an archetype where we will streamline communication internally as well as externally. Finally, we set up a Facebook and Google Ads structure to turn visitors into customers.
After the strategy can finally the marketing phase. We started with a conversion tunnel in Facebook. With the goal of taking visitors along in our Vimexx journey so they can join the Vimexx family. We set this up completely, from campaigns to conversion goals and the Facebook Pixel.
We optimized Google Ads using data and our new structure using the See-Think-Do-Care model). This gave the results below.
4. KPIs achieved
We more than met our initial goals. Since the launch of the Facebook campaigns, we reached more than 14 million Dutch and Flemish people. We achieved more than 21,000 conversions or purchases with an average CPA or cost per conversion of €0.80 per purchase.
We also added 2,000 fans on the Vimexx Facebook page. Similar results we are now working towards in Google Ads. It all looks very promising!
