Easy to use for any bicycle tourist

1. Description case

Vuelta Belgica is an organization that organizes cycling trips. To create a challenge, they wanted to show certain statistics through Strava to see who is the best in a certain discipline. With this question, Vuelta Belgica came to Revaio.

2. Briefing case

Create an application that is very easy to use and also easy to manage/customize. The application should include various segments and filters such as fastest rider, fastest woman, ... Everything should be connectable to Strava for each participant. The statistics must be filtered afterwards and shown on our website.

3. Work

To get started with this briefing, we had to decide in advance which programming code we would use. Because of Google's very user-friendly Go Lang, the choice here was obvious. Updates could be delivered very quickly and inexpensively.

Then we built the dashboard so that there is a page for the user to link his Strava. In addition, there is a full backend for the admin to add new segments, add a new event with other participants, apply other filters (fastest number x km, male vs female, ...) or add segments.

4. KPIs achieved

After launching during their first cycling vacation, the application was a hit. Participants could easily participate in the event, link their Strava and view their personal results on the Vuelta Belgica website. Another satisfied customer, that's always gratifying!
